Citrus Peel / Pulp is a concentrate feed and an energy source in the Pakistan Feed Library. On average citrus peel / pulp contains crude protein 10.3% of dry matter, metabolisable energy 2.5 Mcal/kg, TDN 70.3% of dry matter, NDF 28.1% of dry matter.
Energy concentrates such as cereal grains and by-products raise the energy density of a ration. They are fed together with forage for fibre and with protein sources and minerals to keep the ration balanced.
