De-Oiled Rice Bran
Oryza sativa
Also known as: Rice bran, rice polish meal

About De-Oiled Rice Bran
By-product resulting after de-oiling of rice polish.
Nutritional value and use in livestock rations
De-Oiled Rice Bran is a concentrate feed and an energy source in the Pakistan Feed Library. On average de-oiled rice bran contains crude protein 16.1% of dry matter, metabolisable energy 3.2 Mcal/kg, TDN 88.2% of dry matter, NDF 14.1% of dry matter.
Energy concentrates such as cereal grains and by-products raise the energy density of a ration. They are fed together with forage for fibre and with protein sources and minerals to keep the ration balanced.
Nutrient values vary with variety, growing conditions, processing and storage, so treat the averages as a guide. Send us your ration details if you would like advice on using it in a TMR.
TMR Pakistan supplies related feed ingredients in bulk for farms and feed mills. See the matching products or contact us for a quotation.

SD = standard deviation DM = dry matter. Nutrients other than dry matter are expressed on a dry-matter basis. TDN = total digestible nutrients; ME, NEm, NEg, NEl and DE = metabolisable, net (maintenance / gain / lactation) and digestible energy.
